Raise Immune System Markers

Thoughts of caring and compassion raise immune system markers, strengthening the immune system, even as little as five minutes of    positive thoughts can accomplish this.
We create immuno-suppression when we become agitated.
Working with a doctor who you like and believe in will increase your chances of a positive outcome.
Writing about trauma can bolster your immune system.  When you write out your stressful times you process the event and move it out  of the body.
Meditation is a great tool.  It teaches the mind to be in the here and now.
Reprogram your mind to not accept the negative.
When you have pain, try labeling it neutrally, and just be with it.
Treat yourself the way you would treat a friend.
Practices that foster connection foster health.
Be soft, compassionate and non-judgmental about your body.
Stress is not the event, but how you talk to yourself about the event.  Stress is the perception of a threat that you perceive you cannot       handle.
Your body’s response is based on how you react in each situation.  You can change how you react to situations.
Pay attention to your thoughts.  Take back the power of your mind.
When we feel out of control, stress increases.  Increase internal control whenever possible.
Diaphramic breathing is a good tool to reduce stress.  It blocks the movement of stress throughout the body.
When stress levels/agitation increases, our platelets actually get sticky, causing blockages, etc.  Ask yourself, is my reaction to this          situation worth sticky platelets?
